This class will provide you with a good overview taking a video and how to upload it to Youtube. This is an introductory class of approximately 30 minutes and will be provided at no cost.

Class length may vary based upon the level of training desired. Digital cameras have made recording videos easy. Some cameras provide limited editing capabilities but usually with some difficulty and limited control. A video editing program will allow you to produce a video that is polished and then create a DVD or Video CD. It requires an investment in learning and practice however, the results of your efforts will be worth your time.
Basic (2 one hour classes)

- How to edit you video clips
- How to add audio or music and/or fix/enhance the audio recording
- How to apply effects to the video (panning, transitions, lighting)
- How to apply effects to the audio (reverb, chorus, compression)
- Things to remember when filming (resolution, lighting, keep it short when possible)
- How to render the video and save it as a mp2 file for DVD or CD
Intermediate (2 one hour classes) this may change
- Editing video uses memory and may slow down your computer
- How to synchronize the new audio with a video clip
- How to use effects, panning, 5:1 versus 2:1 wave files
- Creating a slide show from still images
- Titles and credits

Advanced (4 one hour classes) this may change
MIDI sequencers and software based instruments provide a near limitless way to create music. Learning to play a keyboard requires time and patience but the results will be a life long skill that you can use. You do not have to know how to play a keyboard to take the beginner class. We will use free midi files to create a song.
