Printers

Selecting and purchasing a printer requires some knowledge of how it will be used. Printers are now very inexpensive to purchase however, the cost of ink and photographic paper remains expensive. Selecting the right printer is an important decision.

The outlines below may change as necessary to ensure a great learning experience.

Classes will be $25/hour unless otherwise noted.

 

Printers

This class will provide you with a good overview of the types of printers for home or small business purposes. This class will be thirty minutes (1/2 hr).

 

          • Laser, ink jet, or online printing?
          • Costs per page and pages per minute
          • How to share a printer on a network
          • Archival inks and archival paper
          • Where are some places to purchase printers?
